6 Songs On Loop

I come with songs that I have been listening a lot to in the last couple of weeks and months. Tracks from my favourite artists, and some I chanced upon and have come to love. ^^

#1 Malibu by Kim Petras

If you’re looking for a feel-good, mood-boosting track, look no further, this is it.

Listening to this feels like being bathed in sunshine and rainbows after being in the dark for so long.

#2 Yours by Raiden X CHANYEOL (ft. Lee Hi, Changmo)

This was a collab I never thought I needed!

It’s a refreshing synth-pop track with a soothing melody. I can’t get enough of Chanyeol and Lee Hi’s voices, with Changmo’s rap parts definitely adding color to the song.

#3 Crush by Tessa Violet

I’ll be honest—I don’t listen to a lot of new artists, or artists outside of my radar. I came across this song thanks to a Mo Dao Zu Shi animatic by Thevral Lee.

This track coupled with her illustrations retelling WangXian’s story just caught my heart. I don’t know how many times I’ve watched it, that I just had to add this song to my Spring playlist.

It just fits them perfectly🥺

#4 咖啡 (Coffee) by Kris Wu x Lu Han

This seriously unexpected collaboration from Kris and Lu Han sums up much of how I’ve been feeling in the last couple of months, and what I wish I could just do–forget about worries for a while and just enjoy a cup of coffee.

I’ve been drinking a lot of coffee alright, but more so because I need the energy to deal with a lot of things.

#5 1 Billion Views by EXO-SC ft. MOON

If there’s one thing I love most about EXO, it’s how they’re always trying something new and different. EXO-SC‘s title track from their first full length album is just one example of that.

It’s disco-funk with a playful melody that just makes you want to dance*_* To be honest it reminds me a lot of Daft Punk’s songs!

#6 何以歌 (He Yi Ge/Nameless Song) by Aki阿杰

Capping off this list with the ending theme of the Mo Dao Zu Shi Audio Drama, He Yi Ge.

This is such a beautiful song, that opening with the Guqin playing, and then the Dizi comes in and it’s just… I can’t explain it. 🥺 The melody’s addicting, and I have pretty much saved all the versions/covers I can find – Japanese, Korean, and even Guqin and Guzheng covers.

These songs have been such a source of comfort for me, I hope you’ll give them a listen! ^-^

Got any questions? Don’t forget to say hi!
