Hello! At last I’ve finally gotten around to editing photos from last April’s trip to Seoul!^^ Just a head’s up though, this post will be image heavy ^^
Seoul Spring 2012 – Day 1 | April 23, 2012 | Hongdae & Lotte World
Meet YoJi, our gift for JaeJoong 😀
Honey Funny Bunny, for YunHo :))
My companions for the Spring trip, Trisha and Shine unnie : )
Airport limousine no. 6002! This is the bus that goes to Hongdae : D
While Shine unnie was checking her stuff, she noticed that in the receipt… The teller who changed our money… Is named Go Ara. LOL. What luck!!! Haha : )
I sat by the window, and this appeared to me. LMAO. Seoul knows what I love about it! Haha!
Since we got to Hongdae too early, and our hostel’s check in time isn’t til afternoon, I opted to take Trisha and Shine unnie around. It was a cold, cloudy Monday morning. And everything was still closed. So hi, empty streets of Hongdae!
This won’t be the case given a couple of hours later, or at night. Hongdae’s streets can get crazy full at night!
One of the things about Korea — graffiti is common, and so is vandalism.
This is my favorite street! It’s totally lovely at night when the stores are open and buzzing with people!
So we decided to go to Jamsil and check out Lotte : D Here be Hongdae station, say hi to BIGBANG!
We’re taking the green line, and there are no transfers : ) We had this sight the whole ride!
Lotte. The department store was closed because it was a Monday. But oh well! Might as well check out Lotte World! ^^
So of course we went straight to Lotte Star Avenue first! :3
Can’t miss YooChun’s huge forehead! Hi!
BIGBANG’s hand prints! ~
Lotte merchandise ;____; On display!
And here is the JYJ display. OMFG. When I stood there, I wondered how it would have looked like, with all five members. = |
Why aren’t some of these stuff available for purchase?
After that (we just walked through the Star Avenue corridor), we ate a quick lunch at Lotteria.
(Oh, while eating we spotted someone who looked like Go Ara! It totally felt like this trip was going to be full of her. OTL)
The indoor ice skating rink. And well, Lotte World indoor park. OMFGGG. It’s so pretty. ;__;
We bought our tickets first, and then went to Star Avenue again. But this time, we were able to go in to the real exhibit hall. There were BB and JYJ standees, as well as of other artists. You can take a photo with the standees and Lotte could print it for you in poster size, for an extra charge. (We didn’t do that. LOL. Go Girls on a budget!)
Shine unnir, and our JYJ boys : D
So one of the activities is finding out your marital compatibility with a Lotte endorser of your choice. We can only do this once, and I chose JaeJoong.
More displayyys.
Shine unnie with BB!
Another activity is answering questions about your artist of choice. We picked JYJ. And got a perfect score of 100! : D
And then we went to Lotte World!!!
First ride for the day! It’s just what it says — A GIANT LOOP. So if you want to feel how its like to just hang upside down, this is where you go.
I forgot what this was called, but it was on one of the upper floors. : D
It looks real haha. Love you unnie!
I wanted to ride that (ze balloons), but the line was damn long;
It’s just so pretty *_*
We went outside, for the outdoor rides :3 And there goes the famous castle!
Of course there were couples everywhere haha
One of the rides we went to was this cart ride that took you in a sort of candy-filled wonderland. The music and the characters totally reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland. SABAW. But it was enjoyable enough : D
We rode this. It goes wayyyy up, that you can see the whole of Lotte World, the sort of lake surrounding it, and well just the whole area. And then you DROP. That was that, but it felt like all my organs were falling out ahead of my body. OTL
A trip is never complete without a purikuraa!
Trishy! : D
3 out of 4 Go Sisters : ) (We missed you, Mikiyaah)
I didn’t get to take any more photos after this *_* But we went back inside and rode one last log ride, before leaving! It was really bitin, as we didn’t get to go around much. Which only means I have to go back! Haha ^^
This trip is my fourth time in Korea, but it was my first time going to Lotte World. YAY ME. I’m not really the type to go on all tourist-y spots all in one go. I guess it’s because I’d like to make sure I will have something new to see when I go back ^^~
I hope you enjoyed that short glimpse of our first day in Seoul! I haven’t got much photos of myself because we took photos of one another, and the three of us have yet to exchange files!
Hopefully I get to post the other days too! ^^
Have a great day, everyone!
