Want to win a free trip to Korea? Join KCC Philippines’ PINOY KPOP STAR 2011!

The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines is searching for the ultimate Pinoy KPOP performer! The winner will win a free trip to Korea, as well as join the other KPOP STAR winners from other countries (the KCC’s in different countries have each held their contest) at the Hallyu Concert on November 26, 2011 in Korea! Don’t miss this chance to be represent KCC Philippines and be the first PINOY KPOP STAR! ^-^

Before anything else,  please take note of the following:

Rules and Reminders:

  • This is a singing competition.
  • Allowed performances are the following:
  1. Solo (singing)
  2. Singing with dancing (Solo or with a group, maximum of 5 members. Back-up dancers are allowed, but they will not be included in the prize.)
  3. Singing with musical instruments (Solo or with a band maximum of 5 members)
  4. Singing  in groups (with or without dancing, maximum of 5 members)
  5. Performance piece should be a Korean song.
  • Only ONE song should be performed.
  • The song must be without accompaniment of the original artists’ vocals.
  • This means instrumental tracks, music removed tracks or minus one are allowed.
  • All video entries submitted will automatically be properties of the Korean Cultural Center, giving KCC the rights to reproduce, exhibit or publish the videos for promotional / advertising purposes.
  • All participants should have a valid passport at the time of the competition.
  • UCC Videos will be judged by KCC.

How to Join and Submit Entries:

  • Make sure you have read the rules and guidelines.
  • Secure and fill out the CONTEST ENTRY FORM from the KCC Philippines Website. Please fill it out completely.
  • RECORD a video / UCC of your performance.
  • UPLOAD the video / UCC to Youtube.
  • TITLE must follow this format: PINOYKPOPSTAR (name of contestant) Example: PINOYKPOPSTAR (Micky Park)
  • EMAIL the following to kccphevents@gmail.com with the title: KCCIDOL.
  • Entry Form
  • Youtube link of video / UCC
  • Contestant’s creative shot/photo
  • DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES IS ON: September 24, 2011
  • FINALISTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON: September 26, 2011

Prizes:

  • GRAND PRIZE WINNER: Trophy, Gift pack/s from KCC and a Trip to Korea to be part of the KPOP Concert on November 26, featuring all the winners from all the Korean Cultural Centers in the World.
  • SECOND PRIZE WINNER: Trophy and Gift pack/s from KCC.
  • SPECIAL PRIZE: Popularity Award
  • KCC will post the UCC Entries of finalists on their Facebook Page.
  • The entry with most likes on our facebook page  will win the Popularity Award title, a trophy and gift pack from KCC.
  • The Popularity Award winner may also be the Grand Prize or the Second Prize Winner.
